Paid for by the Kentucky Society of Architects Political Action Committee (KSA-PAC). Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.
PAC Registration
The Kentucky Society of Architects Political Action Committee (KSA-PAC) is a registered political action committee in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, registered with and reporting to the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance (KREF).
KREF filings are available to the public at kref.ky.gov.
Tax Deductibility
Contributions to the KSA-PAC are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal or state income tax purposes. The KSA-PAC is a political organization, not a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Voluntary Participation
All contributions to the KSA-PAC are entirely voluntary. No architect or AIA Kentucky member is required to contribute, and there are no penalties of any kind for choosing not to participate. Your decision will not affect your membership standing or any rights within AIA Kentucky.
Bipartisan & Nonpartisan
The KSA-PAC is a nonpartisan political action committee. Contribution decisions are made solely on the basis of a candidate’s positions on issues relevant to the Kentucky architectural profession — not on party affiliation. The KSA-PAC supports both Republican and Democratic candidates.
Scope of Activities
The KSA-PAC supports only Kentucky state elections — specifically candidates for the Kentucky Senate and House of Representatives. The KSA-PAC does not contribute to federal, local, or judicial elections.
No Quid Pro Quo
PAC contributions are made to build relationships with legislators and candidates — not to purchase votes or influence specific legislative outcomes. There is no quid pro quo between any KSA-PAC contribution and any specific vote or action. Any such arrangement would be illegal and unethical and is strictly prohibited.
Contributor Reporting
As required by Kentucky campaign finance law, the KSA-PAC reports all contributions to KREF. Contributor name, employer, address, and contribution amount become part of the public record. By making a contribution, you acknowledge and consent to this required public disclosure.
